Home wanted 9

BELLA

Age: about 3 years old

Gender: Female

Breed: Rottweiler cross

Comments: Bella is a lovely girl (despite the worried look on her face!). She does not appear to get on with other dogs very much but may do well if she is homed with a male dog who would not be intimidated by her. Bella is extremely ‘person friendly’ and loves lots of fuss and deserves a good home.

Ideal Home: Either single-dog home or possibly with male dog.

MERLIN

Age: about 4 years old

Gender: Male

Breed: Terrier cross

Comments: Merlin is quite a possessive little dog and his elderly previous owner did not cope very well with this. Merlin needs an environment where he will be comfy as a member of the ‘pack’ not the leader. Do you think you can give Merlin the structure he needs?

Ideal Home: Experienced owner preferred.

Chrystal is a collie x who is a dote of a dog. We think Chrystal is between 8-10 yrs. When chrystal came into rescue she had a big lump to her belly area which has been operated on and was found to be just a fatty lump. This has all cleared up now. Chrystal is overweight and so could do with some exercise . Chrystal enjoys her walks although a bit slow due to her weight problem. She is happy with a good jaunt or just a light little walk. Chrystal is toilet trained and will tell you when she wants to go out, she will also tell you when its dinner time. Chrystal is briiliant with all dogs and we think would be ok with cats, this hasnt been tested yet, but will be very soon. We think sometime in her past she has been hit as if you go over her head she flinches but this is getting less and less now. Chrystal is in a foster home in cambridge with 9 other dogs who she loves to be with. Her best friends there are a big bullmastiff and a puppy ddb who she play bows to. Chrystal is crate trained and will often take herself in there for a snooze. Chrystal doesnt pull on the lead but likes to be just ahead of you. Chryastal is an easy going and calm dog that would fit into any household. Chrystal can be left for a couple of hours no problem at all.

She really is the perfect companion. Chrystal is very good around the new born baby in her foster home . A home with children of 5 and up would be ok for chrystal as younger ones maybe to much for her constantly but visiting children would be ok.

This is Bob and Hope Hope is the dog on the left & Bob the darker on eon the right)

. Bob and Hope are brother and sister crossbreeds and are 9 years old. They are extremely friendly and good natured dogs who get on well with other dogs and people of all ages. Their previous owner was disabled for the last few years and so they have spent a lot of their lives confined in a kitchen with only each other for company. Bob and Hope are therefore very close and will need to be re-homed together. Bob is the bigger dog, Hope is the white dog. They are healthy and both are neutered and up to date with vaccinations. These lovely dogs are quite boisterous given the chance and love to play in the garden and go for walks. They will need on lead training and some basic obedience work although they are generally well behaved , eager to please and very grateful for any attention. Bob and Hope are currently living in Derby but will be happy to travel to find the lovely home they deserve.
