Comments: Bella is a lovely girl (despite the worried look on her face!). She does not appear to get on with other dogs very much but may do well if she is homed with a male dog who would not be intimidated by her. Bella is extremely ‘person friendly’ and loves lots of fuss and deserves a good home.

Ideal Home: Either single-dog home or possibly with male dog.

MERLIN

Age: about 4 years old

Gender: Male

Breed: Terrier cross

Comments: Merlin is quite a possessive little dog and his elderly previous owner did not cope very well with this. Merlin needs an environment where he will be comfy as a member of the ‘pack’ not the leader. Do you think you can give Merlin the structure he needs?

Ideal Home: Experienced owner preferred.

Ziggy

AGE 1 year

BREED Crossbreed

SEX Male

Ziggy is a 1 year old male medium sized Crossbreed. Our Ziggy is a very handsome light fawn colour and a very happy boy and just full of fun, his got little Queen Anne front legs so may have some terrier in his mix, his a real family dog and loves people his happy to be touched all over and is not fazed when his ears and teeth were checked. Ziggy walks quite well on a short lead and is excellent on a extendable lead, he enjoys his walks but requires moderate exercise. Ziggy likes his treats and would be a easy dog to train, he knows some basic commands like sit and paw and his recall is good especially with the aid of a tasty tit bit. He does jump up still so would not be suitable for very young children but got on very well with our volunteers children 7+. Ziggy gets on well with his male kennel mate but does like to be leader and show the way, he is very good at meeting other dogs on a walk and shows no reaction. Ziggy has not shown himself to be a vocal boy and responds well to commands, on his walks he is happy to lay down and wait when the volunteers stop. He would make a great family dog who would enjoy a good game and does not have to have lots of land to be content.

EVA

Gender: Female

Breed: Collie cross

Comments: Eva is a pretty girl who is very enthusiastic and just wants to run around and have fun. She could do with a bit more training but she will make a lovely addition for the right family.

Ideal Home: A happy, outgoing family home.
