Scooby is a lovely big lad who is keen and lively! Scooby will need plenty of exercise and an active lifestyle to keep him happy.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER HOME:

Scooby has been at ours for a short stay, he has been good on the whole and is a jolly chap when given the right boundries. Scooby will need a home as an only dog and a home without children. He needs a confidant owner who is experienced with large dogs. Scooby takes time to trust, whatever demons haunt him are still close to the surface and he needs to build a relationship with someone and create a bond built on mutual respect for each other. He is a jolly lad when he he is comfortable and he has enjoyed his time with us immensley. He is good with horses and sheep and he loves to come to the stables to muck out ( mainly coz he can eat the horse poo) Scooby would thrive in a relaxed home where he can get plenty of exercise , he isnt into big cuddles but he enjoys human interaction . he is quiet as a mouse at night and 100% clean in the home, he is crate trained too, lots of plus points for scooby If given clear boundries from a confidant pack leader Scooby would make a rewarding addition to the right home.

Bonzo - approx 1 year old Mastiff
Beautiful Brindle boy. Great walking on a long lead, likes to keep with you. Will walk at your side when told. Good passing dogs. Knows some commands and loves gravy bones !! He will need a home with large breed experience.

Bonzo should be dead, he was due to be put to sleep and it was only the dedication and team work of a network of volunteers who saved his life. I am really enjoying spending time with Bonzo & learning about a new breed......i have been reading up on the mastiff website ....such wonderful loyal companions & called the TEDDY BEAR in the dog world as they are so loving as a family member.....& how their natural instinct is to guard......i am learning that as Bonzo is settling in to rescue life he is associating the kennel area as home & can be aloof with strangers.....i have witnessed this so know what to look for .Bonzo is fantastic to walk & passing other dogs & so happy to sit at my side while i talk to other voulunteers....if i was'nt a failed foster mum i would love to take him home to asses him more you fall in love with so many rescue dogs but this boy has stole my heart....his loyalty & focuse with me is he will make somebody really happy.....but as said he is not a fashion ladies handbag
